The stars were distinct and the Milky Way was the most visible I could ever remember. It was cold, very cold. Any heat that we could produce with our bodies was immediately swept away by the massive freezing gusts of wind. We were about 20 miles outside of the city of Lusaka, Zambia in search of several time lapse shots to finish a video we were working on for an organization operating in country.
